Research and Innovation

MISSR has capability of executing any phase of a survey, whether on our own or in close collaboration with the client or partners. Our team is capable of doing the following:

  • Quantitative Data Analysis for quantitative surveys including both inferential and descriptive statistics using STATA, SPSS and EXCEL

Data Management Services

MISSR has an experienced team in designing research instruments using the latest available data collection tools. While understanding the best use of different data collection tools, MISSR provides an extensive data management protocol that ensures the collection, processing and cleaning that guarantees the best quality and reliable data.

While research tools have built-in logic and validations, the MISSR team offers comprehensive data checks and processing activities through use of different data management software such as Stata, where checks are updated continually throughout the data collection and processing phases to ensure the highest quality of the data submitted.

In so doing, we let our clients have access to both raw and processed/cleaned data and agree on whether to implement the suggested changes or not while processing data based on found queries vs comment from respondents.

Management Consultancy

MISSR provides consultancy services and advice to public programs. MISSR is proudly a Tanzania based institution and feels privileged to provide such advisory support to different government programs that foster development.

Policy Review and Analysis

MISSR is determined to support the government in formulating and establishing evidence-based policies and contribute to solutions of policy problems. We are determined to use multiple approaches and involve multidisciplinary teams during the analysis in pursuit of best results.

Development of Socio-Economic Profiles

Our team consists of capable and experienced personnel from different social disciplines determined to develop socio-economic profiles of communities and local government authorities. Social and economic profiles are necessary for decision making, resources prioritization and allocation, and investment.

Monitoring and Evaluation

MISSR conducts monitoring and evaluation of different development programs in East Africa, specifically in Tanzania. Through use of qualitative and quantitative research methods, we conduct surveys and researches that lead to understanding the effect of development programs agenda.

Training

MISSR provides a range of technical organization and individual development support through training. Our team is skilled in providing innovative training to different programs and offers a chance to thousands of people across East Africa to competently grow their career.
