MISSR was contracted by SWISSCONTACT Tanzania provide capacity building of data management and analysis to their 25 implementing partners based in Morogoro. These implementing partners are supported by SWISSCONTACT in reducing unemployment through provision vocational training skills to youths and women. Unfortunately, most of these implementing partners or training providers lack essential skills of data management and analysis that would help them in their monitoring and evaluations. Therefore, MISSR’s role was to cover this gap through face to face training and coaching.
MISSR leading roles
In this assignment, MISSR was responsible for the following activities;
- Conducted need assessment and gap analysis
- Train implementing partners on designing of electronic data collection tools, data management, data analysis and professional writing
- Generate standard tool for implementing partners
- Compiled end training report
- Providing coaching on data management and analysis.
