Consultancy services to conduct Demographic Dividend Study of Zanzibar

The purpose of the assignment include but not limited to the following;

1. Raise awareness of Demographic Dividend concept to public.

2) Enhance stakeholders to mainstream Demographic Dividend into their plans.

3) Enhance decision makers to address population challenges through fostering inclusive socioeconomic development.

The main role was to do the following:

• Collecting demographic information and other macroeconomic data
• Provide an analysis of demographic trends in Zanzibar.
• Identify the current status of the demographic transition along with specific policies and investments that could help deliver a demographic dividend.
• Raise awareness of demographic dividend concept to the public.
• Mainstream demographic dividend into development plans.
